News is appearing online of a new XP machine, info on MD Hunter’s site (great site!) show a wider screen and the logo ICON 7X, looks like it is supposed to be used with existing Deus stem and may represent XPs attempt at a more budget friendly machine as apparently this one is not waterproof. Apprently targetting a late 2025 release.

Nokta have added a page to their website for the Invenio Pro, their detector/imaging system. On the surface of it this looks the same as the standard Invenio but I think the new one comes with extra coils and a bigger battery. Interesting to see if this is a new machine or just a repackaging of the original system.

The Big Detecting Show is the UKs premier weekly metal detecting event, showcasing the characters in the hobby, news and views, regular competitions, fun and games… you’d be mad to miss it! Thursday 8pm, Facebook, Youtube, everywhere really! This week’s guest is Steve Hickman, finder of the Aylesbury coin hoard!

Those generous folks at Treasure Hunting Magazine have opened up their archives of extensive field tests on every detector you can think of! All downloadable for free! Of course subscribing to this great magazine is also an excellent idea!
