Hi, and welcome to the latest edition of Metal Detecting News!

As I’m sure everyone has seen by now, Digathon has unfortunately been cancelled. This is due to the unexpected ill-health of one of the organisers who will be having an operation by the time you read this, I’m sure we all wish Ollie a speedy recovery! Obviously this is not what anyone wanted, especially the organisers, so if you had tickets or are otherwise impacted please exercise a little patience as they sort refunds and the like out.

However, another weekender has appeared with Dragon Detecting having announced a weekend event 29th - 31st August in Herefordshire too!

Detectival and all three RCM events are just round the corner as well… I love rally season! See further down the newsletter for details on all the summer weekenders!
